Welcome to Kabab 2 Go Uptown, a little slice of Lebanese culinary delight nestled in the bustling heart of Charlotte, North Carolina, specifically at 101 N Tryon St, inside the vibrant Monarch Market food court. This gem has quickly attracted food enthusiasts looking for authentic Mediterranean flavors served with a smile.
As I stepped into Kabab 2 Go, I was immediately struck by the warm atmosphere and friendly service that many customers have praised. Danelly Albino, a satisfied visitor, noted how Lucky, a member of the staff, went above and beyond to ensure their experience was top-notch. This level of service is not just a fleeting occurrence but a standard at this establishment. It's evident that they pride themselves on treating every customer like family.
The menu at Kabab 2 Go is a tantalizing showcase of Lebanese cuisine, highlighting dishes that resonate with both comfort and healthcare consciousness. From their scrumptious lamb kababs to the incredibly popular falafel, each plate is cooked with love and presented beautifully. Customer reviews consistently highlight the freshness of the ingredients and the generosity of the portions, making it both an affordable and fulfilling dining experience.
One of the standout dishes that took my taste buds on a joyous adventure was the Chicken Shawarma Wrap. The addition of crispy French fries inside was a delightful surprise, creating a perfect blend of textures that left me craving more with each bite. April Blanding, a newcomer to Mediterranean cuisine, echoed this sentiment, praising the freshness and flavor of their offerings, particularly the hummus and falafel. The hummus had an unmistakable richness, while the falafel was praised for its perfect seasoning and crunch.
For those new to Lebanese flavors, the Chicken Kabab Plate comes highly recommended. It's an introduction to spices that is both enjoyable and pleasantly surprising. The Lebanese salad served alongside was crisp and refreshing, embodying the essence of Mediterranean dining.
To round off your meal, don’t miss the exquisite baklava, delicately packaged and just as delicious as everyone says. It's the perfect sweet ending to an unforgettable dining experience at this fantastic food court gem.
If you're in Uptown Charlotte and looking for a place that serves up not just food, but a true taste of hospitality, look no further than Kabab 2 Go Uptown. I can’t wait for my next visit, as this spot has firmly secured a place on my must-visit list whenever I’m in the area.
“ Lucky went above and beyond with his service! He made sure we were well taken care of. My father loved the lamb and the falafel was sooo good too. The hummus was TO DIE far and the portions were well worth the price! He even asked if we needed any extra pita. The baklava was also packaged so beautifully and was so delicious. We could not recommend this place more! Outstanding and fantastic place. ”
“ Love the Lebanese food here at Kabab 2 Go! Great, healthy choices and in a fun food court in Uptown! Not pictured, but definitely recommend the hummus! ”
“ Went to this wonderful place at Monarch Food court in uptown and it was AMAZING. I had the chicken Shawarma wrap which they put French fries inside of and it was so amazing. Great staff, friendly service, quick food. I’ll be coming back. I absolutely LOVED it. ”
“ Big shout out to this place. The food is great and cooked with love. The service is beyond expectations. The owner is amazing and very caring. We were treated like the best guests, though it’s just a food court. But they have a restaurant level! I’ll be back 100%. Thank you everyone in the team. ”
“ I was first introduced to Kabab 2 Go Uptown from a post on Instagram by Your Foodie Passport. I knew this was a place I wanted to try when I saw the chicken on the skewer. The visual drew me in. Just my luck, this restaurant was of the many vendors in Monarch Market. I stopped by last weekend to try out a few menu items. The food stall was busy, but the staff was friendly, patient, and helpful despite the large number of customers. I do not have strong knowledge of Mediterranean food, so my feedback is based solely off taste. I started with two of their appetizers, hummus and falafel. The hummus had the traditional taste I expected and wanted. I wasn’t that familiar with falafel, but I ordered it because part of the reason I was eating at Kabab 2 Go was to be introduced to new foods. The falafel was amazing. I loved the seasoning, but even more than that, the crispiness. The next menu items I tried shined in two areas: freshness and flavor. I liked the dressing on the Lebanese salad as it wasn’t too overbearing while the veggies inside were nice and crisp. The Lamb Kabab Sandwich had a great pairing of flavors with the grilled lamb, hummus, and onions and was very filling. The Chicken Kabab Plate, a combo of chicken, rice, and salad, is a dish I would recommend for those who aren’t familiar with Lebanese cuisine. It’s a great starting point as it introduces you to the spices, is enjoyable and gives you a bit of everything. I can’t wait for my next visit to Monarch Market as Kabab 2 Go will definitely be on my list of stops again. ”
“ The food was next-level delicious! incredible flavor, and you can tell they’re using quality ingredients. It’s the kind of spot you go to. Highly recommended if you’re craving something amazing! ”
“ We sat at the bar. We ordered the lamb kabob plate and split it. Jo got the green sauce and the hot sauce. These are 99cents extra. They are worth it. The rice and salad were great sides. The amount of lamb was perfect for us to split. Just the right amount of food. ”
“ This place is inside the Monarch Market along with other food vendors. The food was very flavorful and good portions. The service was good but it did seem like it took awhile for our food to be ready, so not sure if this would be good choice if you are in a rush to get somewhere. Stop by the bar and have a drink otherwise. We will be back to try more things. ”
